Cyclist’s Problem #1 in Sardinia: "Where do I leave the car?"
You planned everything: the ferry to Porto Torres, the stages, the training. But there is one stressful unknown: where to leave your car packed with luggage for 10 days while you cycle around the island? Leave it unattended at the port? Too risky. Pay for public parking at the port? Too expensive.
The "Base Camp" Solution at Villa Malvasio We offer the perfect logistics used by expert cyclists (like our friend Pascal and his group from France). Here is how it works:
- Land in Porto Torres (we are 15 minutes away).
- Arrive at Villa Malvasio, unload your bikes, and leave your car in our private, video-surveilled parking (at a fraction of the port's cost).
- Start your tour light and worry-free.
Upon return, find your car safe and our Wellness Suite ready to bring you back to life.
April, May, and June: Paradise on Two Wheels Sardinia in spring is an explosion of scents. Not too hot, empty roads, and the Mediterranean scrub in bloom. But which route to take?
Insider Tip: Coast or Mountains? It depends on your legs.
- The "Hedonist" Way (Coast): Following the perimeter offers breathtaking views and is mostly flat (or rolling hills). The sea is always by your side.
- The "Hard" Way (Inland): If you have steel legs, the real Sardinia is inside. Gallura and the climbs towards Tempio Pausania or Osilo (at 800m asl) offer epic challenges and technical descents worth every drop of sweat.
